Machining center for extruded profiles

Machines for machining extruded profiles need to have certain characteristics and features for efficient and precise operation. We took a detailed look at all of the features that these kinds of machines need when developing the G920X.  

 

For instance, the G920X has two vertically arranged spindles and bridges. As extruded profiles are usually made from metal alloys, such as aluminum, and are exposed to high stresses during machining, the machines need to be tough and stable to ensure reliable machining.

 

The particularly rigid construction of the G920X satisfies this requirement with ease thanks to its machine design. Our developers placed particular importance on the flexibility and adaptability of the machine. This means that our customers can machine a whole host of profile geometries on the G920X.
