GROB EMO 2019
GROB EMO Hannover

GROB-WERKE has been showcasing its technological innovations at EMO, the world's largest trade fair for the metalworking sector, every two years for over four decades. Exhibits include the G-series (2005), the very first GROB universal machining centers (2007), as well as the mill-turn technology (2011) and the universal machining centers of the second generation (2015).

Alongside the new access machine series, the automation and the frame structure machines, new developments in the electromobility sector will be exhibited as technical highlights. The company will also be reporting on the expansion of its innovative service concepts and focusing on the idea of digitization with its proprietary software solution GROB-NET4Industry.

The GROB Info lounge, situated in the center of the exhibition stand, will also be making its debut at this year's EMO. GROB experts provide information on the extensive spectrum of services, such as GROB-NET4Industry, Financial Services and Customer Training.

On the first day of the trade fair already, the exhibits at the GROB stand in hall 12 drew substantial interest. The worldwide premier of the access machine series and the GROB automation solutions were the special focus of attention. Alexander Attenberger, head of the GROB sales department for universal machining centers, was very happy with the first day when he said: "This was a great start for us into EMO. We had a very diverse audience from all over the world. We were able to talk about specific projects, continue to increase awareness of the brand GROB and we are very hopeful to have won new customers."

Towards the end of the first day of the trade fair, Christian Grob and the GROB management were able to welcome the Finance Minister of Lower Saxony, Mr. Reinhold Hilbers, at the exhibition stand. He showed particular interest in the VW exhibit MEB with the electronic modules by GROB, as the federal state of Lower Saxony is one of the main shareholders of Volkswagen.
