For the third year in a row GROB-WERKE has received this award: in 2013 we received the “Best Supplier Award 2013”, followed by the silver “Supplier of the Year 2014”, and finally the gold “Supplier of the Year 2015”. GROB Sales and Marketing Director Jochen Nahl accepted this honor at the 18th Annual Suppliers Conference on January 30 held in Boao/Hainan, China. “Receiving the ‘Supplier of the Year’ award is a great honor for us”, stated Jochen Nahl at the awards event. “As the only European supplier to be so recognized by one of the largest automakers in China underscores our highly successful cooperation and makes us very proud”.
GROB-WERKE already received its first award from SGM ten years ago, when it was honored with the “Best Supplier Award 2006”. Six years later GROB-WERKE received the special “Breakthrough and Innovations Award” for its extraordinary innovations – the sole German machine tool company to be so recognized.
GROB-WERKE’s cooperation with SAIC-General Motors Corporation has a long tradition. Almost twenty years ago SGM placed its initial orders with GROB-WERKE.
